I've created this page because I want to help raise awareness about the wonderful support and work that SANDS (Miscarriage, Stillbirth, Newborn Death Support) offer.
I was unaware of this organisation whilst going through the two miscarriages I have been through and I want to help others by letting them know that there is support and help available when dealing with the loss of a child and that you don't have to go through it feeling alone.
You shouldn't feel like you have to hide your feelings, It's ok to be open, to be honest and to be heard! Let's try to stop the 'TABOO' around not talking about this subject!
To help raise awareness and money for this great cause, I will be walking the Botanic to Bridge 3km course in Gladstone in 3 weeks time and encourage anyone who has had a loss of their own or know of someone who has, to get behind this and donate as much or a little as you can to help SANDS keep doing their wonderful work!
The more people who know about SANDS, the greater their impact so please spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
We all know someone who has suffered through a loss... a sister, a brother, a friend, a cousin or even our own mother.
To honour our babies who were taken too soon, I will be making pins to wear on our shirts during the walk to show that our babies lived, they were loved and they have never been forgotten. If you donate, please feel free to message me and I will be honoured to wear a pin for your loved one with their name or your message to them. Pins will be made in Pink, Blue and Yellow (yellow if their gender was unknown). 💗💙💛
Lets fill our shirts with all of the little loved ones taken too soon and walk in their honour! xx
